Abstract:

The study shows how to adapt beliefs work in prevention measures with a group of 330 youngs (12-18 years), starting on an identification of the core beliefs that young people keeps today, from electronic resources and programs prevention.

Significant differences in beliefs appear on age and level of consumption, and that referred to alcohol are the most distorted.

Of these, some are not included in the programs reviewed and others do not at all. The beliefs identified may work from the beginning of the secondary school, sustaining some of them during this cycle (eg alcohol isn't drug or mix different type of dinks make easiest drunkenness) and decreasing the importance of others (eg alcohol liven up or coffee removed drunkenness).

Cannabis beliefs are not included in reviewed prevention programs, although they were altered in the early years of secondary.

Referring to level of consumption drinkers and polydrugs users show a greater degree of distortion in all beliefs, except in the case of cannabis ones which clearly highlights on the seconds.
