Based on the question: What is the conceptual order reached in the
methodological perspective research on the prevention of consumption
of psychoactive substances in Colombia, carried out between 1980 and
2002? A diagnosis of the state of this issue was done based on what has
been achieved in this area and during that period of time. The study worked
under the qualitative approach, collected information from research
papers found in the Colombian cities: Bogotá D.C, Medellin, Bucaramanga,
Barranquilla, Cali and Manizales, selected because they have universities
and institutions that conduct studies on prevention, documentation
centers and libraries that house the reports of research conducted in each
region. In the process conducted to compile the research projects on drug
prevention is close to seventy-one (71), which were taken into account
based on the research reports found in cities, the universe of studies for
the period 1980-2002, since it was in the 80s, when the research on this
topic began in Colombia, which has increased.
